Deals for Apple Devices

Apple MacBook Pro

Apple’s 14-inch MacBook Pro (8/10, WIRED recommended) comes with interior and exterior upgrades. It has an industrial look, with a boxier chassis, tons of ports (including a MagSafe port for charging), a gorgeous 14.2-inch display with ProMotion (which boosts the frame rate to 120Hz), and a 1080p webcam . Under the hood, the M1 Pro offers excellent performance that can handle almost any task. The discount applies to the 1 terabyte model, but the 512 gigabyte version is also available for $1,799 ($200 off)

The 16-inch MacBook Pro (512 gigabytes) offers the same features as the 14-inch version. But because it’s huge, it’s not the easiest MacBook to travel with and barely fits in most of my backpacks. Still, the extra screen real estate is great, especially if you spend most of your time staring at a computer to work on the go. This model often fluctuates in price and has fallen to $2,111, but this is still a solid deal.

The Apple Watch Series 7 (8/10, WIRED recommended) is our favorite smartwatch for iPhone users, and it’s currently at the lowest price we’ve ever tracked. Compared to the Series 6, it has a 20 percent larger screen (complete with a full-size QWERTY keyboard), stronger glass, and more water and dust resistance. It’s an excellent choice if you’re looking to upgrade your much older Apple Watch or if you’re looking for your first. the smaller one 41mm version is also on sale for $279 ($50 off).

Apple Watch SE

We consider the Apple Watch SE (8/10, WIRED recommended) the best option for most people. It is equipped with a Retina display, an S5 chip (which is faster than both the Series 3 and Series 5), fall detection and more memory. That’s on top of the standard health and fitness tracking features, such as heart rate monitoring and exercise modes. But since it’s an entry-level tracker, you don’t get the more complex features of the Series 7, such as the always-on display, ECG monitor, or SpO2 sensor.

The Apple TV 4K (8/10, WIRED recommended) is a great streaming device for those loyal to the Apple ecosystem. It includes an A12 Bionic chip for faster performance (and support for HDR up to 60 fps), easy-to-navigate menus and a redesigned remote that a lot more intuitive to use. It’s also the lowest price we’ve seen.

AirPods Max

We love the AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED recommended) for several reasons. They are extremely fashionable, offer excellent noise and noise cancellation and integrate seamlessly with iOS devices. They are also one of the most expensive wireless headphones out there. They briefly fell to $323 in April, but this is still a good deal.

They may not come in Cupertino White, but these Beats Fit Pro are associate editor Parker Hall’s favorite Apple-made headphones for most people. They come in many colors, are extremely comfortable and sound great, and they pair instantly with all your Apple devices, just like standard AirPods would (but with a much cooler look). You should definitely buy them above the AirPods Pro

Apple MagSafe Charger

There are plenty of third-party MagSafe chargers on the market, including those that: currently on sale, but you get the fastest possible wireless charging with Apple’s. It attaches magnetically to the back of your iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 and charges your device with 15 watts. WIRED review editor Julian Chokkattu says his only complaint is that the cable is a little too short.

The MagSafe Duo is perfect for those with an iPhone and an Apple Watch. With a spot for each, you can use the Duo to charge both devices at the same time. It also folds together seamlessly, making it ideal for travel. And it’s compatible with AirPods (only the ones with support) and Qi-certified devices.

apples official case with MagSafe is a nice option for your iPhone. It has precise cutouts for ports, click buttons and a slim profile. We also like that it keeps the camera module flat, so your iPhone doesn’t rock back and forth when it’s flat on a surface. The case also comes in a leather version† You can find more great iPhone 13 accessories here

If you prefer a trackpad over a standard mouse for your Mac or iPad, the Magic Trackpad is a great accessory – I especially enjoyed using it with the Mac Studio and Studio View† It automatically pairs with your device, offers about a month of battery life, and comes with support for Apple’s full suite of Multi-Touch gestures. It’s confusing, but this is the newer version of the Magic Trackpad 2.
