Google Pixel 6

If you are looking for a new one android phonemost people should go for the Pixel 6† This is the lowest price we’ve ever tracked and an incredible value. You get a 90Hz AMOLED display, wireless charging, the same powerful Tensor processor, and a great dual-camera system. Read our Pixel phone guide to accessories tips and recommendations. This deal is also available at Target

We like Google’s Pixel 6 Pro (9/10, WIRED recommended) because it has a spectacular camera system, with a great 4X optical zoom, a sharp 120 Hz screen refresh rate with an AMOLED panel and many useful smart software features powered by Google’s Tensor processor. Oh, and a battery that generally lasts an entire day. The phone has had quite a few bugs but many of the issues have now been fixed. This deal is also available at Target† Just know that the Pixel 7 Pro arriving by the end of the year (and the Pixel 6A later this month).

If you can do all your work from the Chrome browser, a Chromebook might be all you need. This Pixelbook Go is getting a bit old, but it’s still one of our favorite Chromebooks and runs perfectly. The screen is bright, the keyboard is beautiful and this Core i5 model is powerful enough for most.

Google Pixel Buds A Series

These are our favorite earbuds (8/10, WIRED recommended) for most people, and at this price they are an even better value. You get instant pairing with many Android devices, great Google Assistant integration, IPX4 water resistance to protect them from sweaty workouts, and a comfortable, ergonomic design. They also sound pretty good! Just about the only downside is the 5-hour battery life, which is a bit low these days (although you can top it up a few times with the egg-shaped charging case). There’s also no wireless charging on the case, unfortunately, so you’ll need to connect it via USB-C.

This Pixel Stand was a few dollars cheaper last week. It is the first generation wireless charger from google – not the newer ones, second generation version (see below)† It charges any device with support for wireless charging, be it landscape or portrait. Putting a Pixel phone on it gives you a few extra benefits, including mood lighting that mimics the sunrise, a digital photo frame feature, and quick access to smart home controls. Read our Best wireless chargers guide for more options.

the second generation Pixel standard is somewhat more limited. You get a similar system of benefits if you pair this phone with a Pixel phone, but any phone that supports wireless charging should charge just fine. However, you can only charge your phone in portrait orientation, not in landscape orientation. The great thing about both is that they don’t have any distracting LEDs, so they’re perfect for the bedside tableand they hold your phone upright so you can easily read notifications.

Doorbell & Security Camera Deals

Nest Doorbell

Only certain colors are still included in this deal. The Nest video doorbell is our second choice, comes second to Arlo’s Essential simply because it is more expensive. This is one of the lowest prices we’ve seen. It is easy to assemble and remove for charging (battery lasts more than a month). The smart notifications that identify faces and packages are also accurate, but you have a Nest Aware subscription ($6 per month)† You can find this deal at Best Buy also.

a . required indoor security camera† This simple one looks elegant, can be mounted and has no battery, which means you have to plug it in. (On the plus side, you never have to charge it.) WIRED review editor Julian Chokkattu has had one pointed at his front door for the past year and has had good experiences with it, although a Nest Aware Subscription expands your video history. It’s also available at Target

Nest Cam

This security camera works just like the indoor camera above, except it runs on batteries and can withstand rain, wind and snow. It has a 130 degree field of view and 1080p video, which WIRED editor Adrienne So says showed a clear view of her driveway, front door and even most of her front yard. The battery should be charged after a little over a month. A similar deal is also available at Target

If you’re planning to monitor a dark and gloomy area, this camera is functionally similar to the Nest Cam above, but it doesn’t run on a battery and has two spotlights on either side. The lighting can turn on automatically, for example when the camera detects movement. You can also set a schedule or use your voice to enable them. A similar deal is also available at Target

Smart Speaker, Display & Router Deals

Nest Wifi Router and Point

Photo: Google

The Nest Wifi is easy to set up, looks elegant and creates a reliable mesh network in your home. This deal is for the router and the point, so you can easily extend your coverage. The big disadvantage of this model? There is no Wi-Fi 6 support, but since your devices must support Wi-Fi 6 to take advantage of the new standard, that might not be an issue. This deal is also available at Target† Read our Best Mesh Routers guide for more recommendations.

The new Nest Thermostat isn’t as smart as the original Nest Learning Thermostat, which means it doesn’t learn and doesn’t adapt to your habits, but you can still set schedules. It also lowers itself when you leave your house, saving you energy and you can control the temperature via the app. If you like how Google operates its smart home, we think you’ll like this.

Just plug it into your TV and you get a slick Google TV interface with all your favorite apps, including YouTube, Netflix and HBO. You can download the Chromecast (8/10, WIRED recommended) all via the included remote, or you can cast directly from your smartphone. It’s the best of both worlds.

Nest Mini

The Nest Mini is the cheaper, smaller, and smaller version of the Nest Audio. It does not matter sounds so good, but it’s a great little speaker for small rooms in the house where you want to use your voice to control your smarthome devices. You can also mount it on the wall (as long as there is an outlet nearby).

Nest audio from Google (8/10, WIRED recommended) is one of our favorites smart speakers† This is the typical deal price it drops to during major sales events. The Nest Audio is the successor to the original Google Home from 2016 and offers deeper bass and louder sound for better streaming. Of course, it’s powered by Google Assistant, so you can ask it anything you’d type into the Google search bar. Linking two together creates a solid stereo system. There is a physical switch to turn off the microphone, which we appreciate. This deal is Also available at Walmart

Nest Hub Max

Photo: Best buy

This is the lowest price we’ve seen for the Nest Hub Max (8/10, WIRED recommended† This version has a camera, so you can use it for video chatting. It’s a handy companion, as it can act as a security camera feed (if the camera supports it), walk you through cooking instructions, or simply act as a digital picture frame.

the cameraless Nest Hub is also for sale. This one has a 7-inch screen as opposed to the Nest Hub Max’s 10-inch screen, so it’s more suitable for small spaces like bedrooms. This second-generation model can also detect your sleeping habits in case you want to make sure you’re working for seven hours (no wearable required).
