Raji claimed the suspect tried to bribe a duty staff with the money found on him, but his men turned down the offer and quickly arrested him.

The commander added that a preliminary investigation on the part of the agency had been completed and that it would now hand the suspect over to the Nigerian Police Force for further action.

The suspect claimed that he found the bag containing the weapons and ammunition in a village in Bayelsa state, hidden in a bush.
