Deals on wireless earbuds
Its affordable price tag, direct Android pairing, and Google Assistant built-in are just a few reasons we like the Pixel Buds A-Series (8/10, WIRED recommended† They are a great option for Android users looking for an AirPods-like experience in terms of pairing ease, sound quality and comfort level. We weren’t overly impressed with their battery life, but this deal price makes up for it a bit.
We love the Beats Fit Pro (9/10, WIRED recommended† Not only do they sound and feel better than Apple’s AirPods Pro, but they also have a much longer battery life:and they are cheaper to boot. Our local headphone expert said the Fit Pro are “the best earbuds for iOS by a country mile.” This price is an all-time low.
They may not be the cheapest earbuds, but WIRED UK rates the B&W PI7s for its range of features and quality design. Again, these aren’t cheap, but if that combination catches your eye, this is the lowest price we’ve seen on these premium buds.
The LinkBuds (8/10, WIRED recommended) stand out for their unique design that allows for better listening in the environment, and they are also great for smaller ears. This 15 percent discount is quite significant considering they hit the shelves in 2022.
In a world full of cheaper and same wireless earbuds, the Tempo 30 (8/10, WIRED recommended) can still shine. They are lightweight and waterproof, but pack a powerful bass. They are also comfortable for smaller ears, which is not always the case. Add noise cancellation and a price tag under $50, and you’ve got a recipe for accessible earbuds that work for just about anyone. Keep in mind that you may want to jump in for an upgraded pair of ‘earbuds’ if you need crystal clear cordless phone calls.
If you’re looking for some workout buttons, look no further. The Elite 7 Active has a super durable and comfortable design, excellent noise cancellation and transparency and a fantastic sound. The IP57 rating means they are dustproof and can withstand submersion in some water. The case also supports wireless charging.
Jabra has long been making some of the best wireless earbuds at various price points, and these affordable Elite 3 buds showcase many of the company’s best features. You get an ergonomic design, good microphones and pretty good sound for the money. These are IP55 rated so they will still be good even if you sweat a lot.
These are my favorite earbuds for Android phone owners because they pair quickly with all modern Android phones. They also have a dual-driver array that provides excellent bass, plus a wireless charging case. Know that this is a small deal as they often retail for $110.
If you’re looking for noise-canceling earbuds for work, I like these from Sony. They are slightly larger than other earbuds, but thanks to Sony’s excellent technology, combined with foam earbuds, the world is really quiet, and good microphones make it easy to hear you during conversations.
Amazon’s second-generation Echo Buds are some of our favorites for those who want a smart assistant built into their earbuds. They sound good for the money and they have good microphones (plus, it’s nice to be able to just ask Alexa for almost anything when you’re out and about or when your hands are busy).
Despite their affordability, these earbuds have features you’d normally find in more expensive (and more expensive) headphones. The active noise cancellation and emphasis on bass make them a good substitute for someone who doesn’t want to pay triple digits for fruit-flavored technology.
Headphone Deals
These have been replaced by a newer modelbut that means Sony’s WH-1000XM4 (9/10, WIRED recommended) flagship noise canceling headphones are a fantastic deal right now. They are still excellent, with 30 hours of battery life, great sound and microphones that will make you sound pretty good on phone calls.
The Q30 cans are some of our favourites headphones under $100, and they’re even further below this Prime Day. This affordable product still manages to offer reasonable noise canceling capabilities and a top-notch 40-hour battery life.
Your last experience with Beats may have been when they were plastic and overhyped. But now that Apple owns them, they’re actually pretty good! This pair sounds great for the money, and the noise cancellation is decent for louder environments too.
If you’ve ever wanted to drown out the drone of a plane or the loud chewing of your office mate, it’s hard to find a better option than this one. The noise reduction works for mechanical keyboards as well as background noise in coffee shops. Our favorite feature is the excellent call quality, which makes the Bose Noise Canceling 700 our top choice for the office†
These noise-cancelling headphones from Bose are the lowest price we’ve seen for Prime Day, $50 less than the discount they got for last year’s big Cyber Monday event. For $229, the Bose QC brings 45 ANC and a solid 24 hours of battery life to the table.
Although we have the . recommend wireless version of this headset, the wired headset is still a good choice – and not just because we’re a little biased. The comfortable headset is compatible with any gaming platform, including phones (although you may need a dongle if your phone doesn’t headphone jack† This price is better than other discounts we have followed.
This Oakywood headphone stand is a stylish way to hang your cans when you’re not using them, but it also has a wireless charger built into the wooden base to top up your smartphone or wireless earbud case.
These can be seen in our collection of the Best wireless headphones because they are so damn comfortable. I wish the pairing was as sleek as what you’d find in some other headsets, and it doesn’t help that they’re a little more expensive than comparable options from other brands. Nevertheless, the PX7 (8/10, WIRED recommended) are super light and incredibly comfortable to wear. They also sound great. This price is much lower than we have seen before.
speaker offers
The Echo Dot is one of my favorite smart speakers because it’s such a convenient way to fill a bathroom, bedroom or kitchen with sound. I use one when I’m in the shower and when I cook dinner, where the round little speaker can record excellent sound in three dimensions.
This special edition of the Echo Dot aims to allow parents to set controls over what their kids listen to (and order) through the smart assistant. It comes with a year of Amazon Kids+, which contains thousands of Audible books and other special games and features. After that, you will be charged $3 per month.
The SoundLink Revolve (Series II) is a top-rated Bluetooth speaker in WIRED UK’s guide due to its excellent 360-degree sound, improved battery life from the previous model and high-quality design. It’s definitely a luxury item, but today’s discount thankfully brings the cost well under $200.
Do you want a soundbar that can double as a smart speaker? This Yamaha has Alexa built in, so you can use it like any Echo speaker and ask the voice assistant anything. It also sounds great as a soundbar, especially the bass thanks to the included subwoofer.
One of the best ways to enhance your home theater experience is to buy a soundbar. If you really want your home to feel like a movie theater, the Samsung HW-Q950A soundbar has you covered. It features Dolby Atmos compatibility, so it’s capable of delivering truly lifelike and immersive sound to pull you straight into your favorite movies.
Even if you don’t have a lot of space to set up a soundbar, you still have options like this Roku Streambar, one of our favorites for small spaces. It produces a surprisingly rich and detailed sound, all without taking up too much space. A great choice for apartment dwellers. Oh, and it does double duty by bringing Roku’s slick interface to your TV.
If you want a Dolby Atmos soundbar that will knock several pairs of socks off you, the Shockwafe 9.2 is a good choice. It’s on our list of the best sound bars for a reason. It produces a truly awesome amount of bass, so be sure to be careful if you have thin walls and neighbors.
Use code PRIME30 to see the discount at checkout. The coolest thing about this speaker is that it runs on water power. It is compatible with most shower heads and once installed, the water does the rest. WIRED review editor Julian Chokkattu says the sound quality is decent, but the convenience of never having to charge a speaker (or remembering to bring it into the bathroom) outweighs the lack of clear audio. Your shower singing game is about to get a serious upgrade.
Nest, owned by Google, makes great speakers, especially if you prefer Google Assistant onboard rather than Alexa or Siri. The Nest audio (8/10, WIRED recommended) improves sound quality over the original Google Home, and you can also use it to set timers, check the weather, or keep up with your favorite podcast while you cook. Grab a pair and you can get some pretty great stereo sound for the money.
If you just want a simple smart speaker to control your smarthome devices, you’ll be happy with a smaller model like the Nest Mini† It sounds decent for playing music, but it’s best for more basic tasks like timers and the weather.
