Commenters on Twitter were outraged that Harvester’s self-serve salad bar policy has changed

He wrote: “Harvester is scrapping the self-service salad bar in all their restaurants and employees are going to fill the bowl instead. If this is a direct result of consuming 154 mini gherkins in one sitting in August 2018, I would like to apologize to Britain.”

Another, Lea, wrote: ‘Harvester changing the way they serve the salad bar is a travesty.’

Meanwhile, Twitter user Viscount Gavin wrote, “That’s a shame. It was always fun to stack random salad together.’

According to the company’s website, Harvester serves more than 30 million meals a year.
