A RETIRED policeman saw dead alien bodies being lifted by a crane and dragged away after the infamous Roswell UFO crash, it was alleged.
In a bomb interview, former Deputy Sheriff Charles H Forgus of Howard County, Texas, recounted how he traveled to Roswell to pick up a prisoner with Sheriff Jess Slaughter.

The voyage took place on the eve of the world’s most famous UFO crash on July 2, 1947.
Forgus claims he saw four foreign bodies with large eyes and tan skin being taken away by military personnel.
The interview will be televised for the first time in an upcoming documentary released to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Roswell crash.
Forgus said, “We went to Roswell to pick up a prisoner. When we got there, the country was covered with soldiers. They were dragging a large creature and loading him away.”
“They also did not let us get very close to it. So we went up to get the prisoner in Roswell and back there.”
“Item [the UFO] has already crashed. They were taking them out. There were soldiers there … about 3 or 4 hundred of them. They will not let you get very close. They kept all the people away. People got out of there. ”
He described the UFO as “a big round thing” that was about 100 feet tall and told how he saw the lights go out “when it hit the wall in the creek,” adding, “it was like a mountain on the side of the brook. “
Speaking about the alleged foreign bodies, he said: “I think I saw about four [of them].
“I saw the legs and feet on some of them … they looked like our feet …
“We [saw] they drag them [the bodies] out [of] there, from the canyon to trucks.
“[They were] farm [them] on the trailers so they could tow them.
“They picked them up with a crane they had and picked them up and swung them to put them on the truck.
“The bodies must have been 5 feet high … they were covered.
“Their eyes looked like the ones we see on television and the photos of them.
“As far as I could see, the skin was a brownish color as if they had been in the sun too long.”
‘IN THE SUN TOO LONG’
He added: “There’s one thing I do remember, the great father did not just make this planet, he made everyone. He placed beings on this planet just as he placed us on this one.
They are smarter than us, they can get from here to here, but we can not from here to there.
“I do not know where they took them – they may have taken them to the hospital or somewhere.”
“He said he watched the scene for about 20-30 minutes and military officials saw him watching but said nothing to me.”
UFO researcher Philip Mantle, who has been investigating the Roswell incident for decades, said he remains open-minded about the witness report.
‘SMARTER THAN US’
“Forgus was led by Los Angeles private investigator Deanna Short in 1999,” he said.
“Deanna videotaped the interview and later had a transcript of the interview done and completed her agency report to verify facts at that time related to Charles Forgus and Sheriff Jess Slaughter – both from Howard County, Texas.
“Sheriff Jess Slaughter and Deputy Sheriff Charles Forgus allegedly traveled from Texas to Roswell together in early July 1947 to pick up a prisoner when they happened at the Roswell accident scene in New Mexico.
“Both were there and were on a view to see the recovery scene of the accident scene by the army.
“According to Deanna’s daughter, Mackenzie, Charles made a special effort to alert Deanna not to believe what others would say – he and the sheriff did see the Roswell accident scene.
“They heard about the accident on the police radio, which enabled them to find the place.
“Deanna is now deceased, but her daughter Mackenzie Christian kept Deanna’s files which include the Roswell case, which includes the video interview.
INCREDIBLE ACCIDENT
“In 1999, Deanna verified the background, including living relatives of both law enforcers that existed at the time, and documented it in her agency’s intelligence report.”
He added: “I am open-minded about the truth of what Charles Forgus claimed.
“I dare say many of those who know much more than I do about the Roswell incident will write it off as it does not fit the well-known Roswell accident scenario.
“All I will say is that I’m trying to find more information and I’m leaving this ‘Roswell file’ open.”
Mantle added that he was also in contact with Forgus’ nephew, who assured him that he was not a man who would ever lie.
The nephew said, “I can tell you, he is not a person who would have produced this story.
“He was a very straightforward and no-nonsense type of person … that’s why he was in law enforcement.”
It comes while a grand festival is being held in Roswell, New Mexico to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the world’s most famous UFO crash.
