Fatherhood doesn’t slow down rapper A$AP Rocky as he gave an energetic headline performance during the opening day of Wireless Festival in London’s Crystal Palace Park.
Chris Brown and Lil Uzi Vert were among the names also taking the stage on Friday, with J Cole, Playboi Carti, Tyler, The Creator, Little Simz and Ari Lennox performing all weekend.
He looked excited to be on stage on the first day of the bash, much to the delight of the eager crowd. He kept his clothes casual in a black t-shirt, hoodie and black leather jacket.
The 33-year-old gave his first UK performance in six years at the event, billed as Europe’s largest celebration of contemporary black music. It ends on July 11.
Performances will take place at two London venues, Crystal Palace and Finsbury Park, and at the Birmingham NEC – where the festival returns for the first time since 2014.
A$AP’s plus one singer and new mom Rihanna also made headlines when fans saw her at the festival to support her boyfriend.
The Diamonds singer has been keeping a low profile lately gave birth to her first child with the rapper last month.
She has not yet shared her son’s name or photo on social media and has rarely been seen in public since.
Rihanna and A$AP – real name Rakim Mayers – started a family together in May but have remained fiercely private about the newborn.
The new dad recently offered insight into the things he hoped to pass on to his children, explaining that he hoped to create an “open-minded” family.
“I will always remind my children never to lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what,” he told Dazed and Confused.
‘I hope to raise open-minded children. No people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically I just want a cool kid with cool parents.
‘Things like diversity and versatility are important and are embedded in the household.’
