Abio Vieira has informed Arsenal fans that he will be fit to join the squad for the pre-season “very soon” despite injury fears for the new signing.
A social media image of the Portuguese midfielder circled on Friday showing Vieira wearing a protective boot on his left foot.
However, the player insists the move was just a precaution before his first day at work at the Gunners.
“Relax guys … it’s just a precaution!” I posted on Instagram.

Arsenal have started their pre-season schedule for the past few days and will leave for German venue Herzogenaurach on Friday for a clash with Nuremberg at the headquarters of sponsors Adidas.
Everton, Orlando City and Chelsea will be the team’s opponents on a tour of the United States before returning to Sevilla in the Emirates Cup.
