A dramatic rescue mission after a Hong Kong ship was split into two and dozens of ships were on board

Today, more than 20 crew members are at risk after the ship sank during a storm off the coast of Hong Kong.

Airplanes and helicopters were dispatched for rescue, and as of 5:30 pm local time today, at least three of the 30 crew members were safely carried.

The name and origin of the industrial support vessels operating in the South China Sea have not yet been announced.

It became difficult during a storm about 186 miles south of Hong Kong.

The video showed how some of the crew were lifted from the damaged ship.

The Hong Kong Flight Service said in a statement that the crew had been negotiating the difficulties posed by the severe tropical cyclone Chaba.

It was packed with a maximum wind of 68 mph, making it difficult to navigate the body of water.

The storm is expected to land in the western part of Guangdong’s coast province late Saturday.

Hong Kong service sent two fixed-wing aircraft and four helicopters.
