Nick Kyrgios has labeled the referee a ‘disgrace’ for failing to give his opponent Stefanos Tsitsipas a notice of default after hitting a ball into the crowd after losing the second set.
The Australian, who proved to be his usual controversial self during the first week of Wimbledon after a number of high profile incidents, including brawls with umpires and audience members, became frustrated with the official match during his third-round draw with the fourth seed.
Kyrgios and Tsitsipas are known for being great personalities on and off the pitch and the early stages of their match reflected that, with both players involved in several controversial incidents.
