Justin Bieber’s grandmother was involved in a fatal car accident in Ontario over the weekend, TMZ reported on Saturday.
The singer-songwriter’s step-grandmother Kathy, on the side of his father Jeremy, was apparently hit while stopping in her car in a city street.
News of the crash surfaced through a public Facebook community page dedicated to classic cars in the Stratford area. DailyMail.com issued Bieber representatives for comment on the crash.

Brandan Stevens, who is possibly related to the Baby singer, apparently posted that he was in the accident with Kathy.

When asked by other Facebook users what happened, he wrote on the website, ‘we were at a dead end street while a car turned a few cars in front of us to the left. When an attention-grabbing back manager let us finish, they said she had to do 70. ‘
He continued: ‘It was not good to pull my grandmother out of the car. could have been very bad if we had been in there for another 5 seconds because the doors were closed. ‘
Kathy has posed next to the car in the past, and she and Justin have stood together in several photos, but admittedly not in several years.
