5G increases connection density per square kilometer

India will soon see the dream of launching a 5G network come true. The Telecommunications Bureau (DoT) set the ball rolling a few days ago by releasing the Notice Inviting Application (NIA) for the 5G spectrum auction. As soon as the telco gets the spectrum from DoT, it will take part in the competition to launch the first commercial 5G network in India. Prior to the launch of 5G, there is much discussion about how it can help India.

One of the things we can be confident about is that 5G will increase the connection density per square kilometer. Simply put, this is a measure of the number of mobile connections that network technology can support on a particular square kilometer.

5G and 4G: Connection density

When talking about connections per square kilometer, 5G can support 10 times more connections than 4G.

“Currently, 4G can only provide 10,000 rupees per square kilometer. This could be 10 times higher at 5G. This is 1 million connections per square kilometer, which is 20 times higher in bandwidth. Sandeep Lodha, co-founder of Netweb Technologies, told Telecom Talk.

Regarding what the government is doing to boost the manufacture of electronic devices in India, Roda said: As you can see today, the government has announced a PLI scheme, which is a very well-crafted scheme. “

Lodha appreciated the fact that the PLI scheme is actually aimed at benefiting the Indian economy in a very concrete way.

Regarding India’s employment scenario, Roda said there is a shortage of skilled workers in India. He said Indians are actively considering working at Netweb because they have the opportunity to study at the company, even though they do not have the status of a multinational corporation.
