Tuchel in error
Barcelona star Jules Koude has claimed he snubbed Chelsea because Xavi is a better communicator than former manager Thomas Tuchel.
Kounde told L’Equipe: “First I come to a big club, which has had good times and which has had less lately.”
“I’m coming to a project that I wouldn’t call reconstruction, because we already have a competitive team, but rather a revival.
“I was interested in being part of this new wave, looking for titles and bringing Barca back to where it has always been, to the best clubs. Then there was the talk with the coach.”
“We mainly talked about football. I felt real confidence from him, that he had a real knowledge of myself, my game and my qualities.
“I spoke to Tuchel and I also felt that he wanted me to come, but I just preferred Xavi’s speech”
