Piers Morgan rushed to Sir Paul McCartney’s defense after complaining that the singer did not play the Beatles song well at the headline in Glastonbury.
Sir Paul, 80, made history last night and became the oldest person to headline the Somerset Music Festival. Bruce Springsteen and Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl joined the stage as a special guest, and he certainly delivered an interesting set.
However, some viewers feel that Sir Paul hasn’t played enough songs from the Beatles’ iconic back catalog, so it doesn’t seem to be satisfactory.
Well, 56-year-old Piers didn’t have it, so he immediately posted the critics on social media.
“Twitter’s moaning Macca” wasn’t enough Beatles hits, “” the uncensored host said.
He continued:’He played Ca’t Buy Me Love, Love Me Do, I Saw Her Standing There, Lady Madonna, Blackbird, Get Back, Something, Let It Be, Hey Jude.
“These songs alone are nine of the best pop songs ever. Twitter..STFU.’
Earrings had tweeted before. ‘Sir Paul McCartney rocked Glastonbury near midnight at the age of 80 and played some of the greatest songs in music history with the enthusiasm of teenagers. Amazing. ‘
There were other complaints about Sir Paul’s set, but BBC viewers didn’t start the live stream on BBC One at 9:30 pm, despite the start time of his performance. Was actively smoked, and the news began. Instead at 10:30 pm.

“Paul McCartney’s long-awaited set will air on BBC One and Radio 2 at 10:30 pm and will be available on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds.”
A spokeswoman added: “Broadcasting of events of this size is complex and we cover a large amount of performances, so there may be variability between the performances that take place and their transmission.”
