Vodafone Idea (Vi) and Reliance Jio offer multiple plans that are very similar. Today we are looking at a plan that both telcos offer for exactly the same price, and most of the benefits are also the same. But there is a subtle difference that makes one operator’s plan better than another. Both are known for offering PAN-India 4G Services. Both the plans of Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) are so similar here. Hero Unlimited perks of Vi are show stealers though. There is no other operator in the country that offers benefits like those with Vi’s prepaid plans. Jios plan isn’t bad either. You can also go for Jio’s subscription if you think the telco’s network services are better. However, Vi’s plan has the edge over Jio’s Rs 499 plan in this case. The fact that both plans come at the same price is why Jio’s plan is a little behind. If Jio had followed the same strategy and went for a slightly lower price for this plan, things could have been different. But right now, in terms of added benefits in terms of data, Jio’s plan is a little behind.
