The Loose Women feel quite despondent after the news of Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid‘s resignation, leaving the Prime Minister Boris Johnson to rearrange his cabinet.

Janet Street-Porter, in particular, questioned the future of the government, calling the prime minister the “fat pig” and “sleek pig” when discussing the great parliamentary commotion.

Fellow panelist Coleen Nolan feels momentarily deflated, and could only sigh and sigh when questioned about her thoughts on whether the prime minister is fit to run the country?

On Wednesday’s episode of the ITV show, alongside Christine Lampard and Brenda Edwards, the presenters shared their thoughts on whether they have lost faith in Johnson.

Janet began: “The polls have shown for a few weeks now that the people of the country and the viewers of this show have lost faith in the Prime Minister and do not respect him.

“But I think everyone should remember that in Whitehall, Boris Johnson is known as the greased pig or the smooth pig,” which sparked chuckles among the panel when she explained that the prime minister is notorious for “working his way” out of tight quarters. situations, such as ‘wallpaper gate’ and ‘party gate’.

She explained that reports claim the prime minister was briefed five times about alleged sexual misconduct within the party, adding that she thinks the chancellor and health secretary simply took ‘too much’ before eventually resigning from their ministerial roles.

After JSP labeled their resignation letters as “devastating,” she said appointing new positions in government is like “shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic,” with little hope of new chancellor Nadhim Zahawi

“How long can Boris stay in the business and run the country when all these scandals dominate his life every day?” she asked.

Coleen also has no faith in the Labor Party or its leader Sir Keir Starmer, simply: ‘I’m bored.’

“It’s just guys rowing. It’s annoying. It’s all screaming for Boris to say he has to step down, but then who? Than what? Because, as far as I can tell, no one really trusts them. No one comes in with better options.”

Brenda then called for a mass removal of the government, saying we had to “start from scratch” with “real people who really know what’s going on and have their finger on the pulse outside.”

“It’s like when they turned Marathon into Snickers—it still tasted the same when you opened the package.”

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
