Luke Morgans (Gary Lucy) funeral was stopped in his tracks in hollyoaks by the sudden appearance of ex-wife Scarlett (Susan Amy), who shook up with… quite a big announcement to make†

The day in question was, understandably, a bleak one for Luke’s loved ones, as they gathered to bid him farewell one last time.

Ollie Morgan (Gabriel Clark) was given the task of delivering the eulogy, but with emotions running high, this proved incredibly difficult for him, so Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) stepped in.

While reminiscing about her time with Luke, Cindy labeled him her “soulmate,” instructing the funeral-goers to remember the good times they shared with him.

Viewers were then treated to a montage of Luke’s greatest moments, and we’re not crying, we swear.

Scarlett’s presence discontinued proceedingswhen she entered the church to reveal that Luke had named her the sole beneficiary in his will, implying that she left everything behind.

Cindy was shocked and a showdown ensued between the two, which ended with a resounding blow!

Afterwards, she told Scarlett that Luke was not in his right mind before his death, as he had been battling dementia.

Scarlett didn’t seem too concerned about that and even told Ollie she could share the money with him.

However, Ollie has informed his mother that he will be moving to Canada after the funeral. What’s more, revealed that Luke was actually ‘skin’, so Scarlett won’t actually inherit anything.

Back in the village, Ollie shared a hug with his loved ones as he prepared to kick off his departure.
