The road-launched Yars intercontinental missiles were tested in a forest in western Siberia. With a range of 7,500 miles, the weapons are capable of hitting Britain or anywhere in Europe. The tests were performed hours later Russia former president and current head of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has expressed a nuclear threat.
Medvedev warned of the end of “humanity’s existence” if Moscow is punished for war crimes. A statement from the Russian Defense Ministry said: “More than 100 pieces of hardware are taking part in the exercise”.
It added that its troops have been trained to kill fake saboteurs, scout the launch area and pass through “contaminated” areas. Putin had already put his nuclear forces on readiness and continues to threaten the West with nuclear warfare.
The tyrant’s brutal and illegal invasion has led to a series of alleged war crimes. These include the repeated shelling of civilians, reports of rape and torture, summary executions and the use of banned cluster munitions.
Medvedev warned today that the International Criminal Court (ICC) must refrain from attempting “legally void” actions against Russia.
He said on Telegram today: “The idea of punishing the country with the greatest nuclear potential is absurd in itself. And potentially threatens the very survival of humanity.”
The Secretary of Defense then went on to dismiss the allegations against the US. He accused Biden’s government of trying to “sow chaos and destruction” through the ICC, calling them a “daredevil or an idiot”.
He added that the United States wants to bring Moscow before international tribunals while never being punished for its own wars, adding: “America has killed more than 20 million people in 37 years since the end of World War II. countries, according to a study published in Global Research.”
Continuing the Kremlin’s strategy of accusing hostile nations of Nazism, despite presiding over a dictatorship themselves, Medvedev added: “The number of victims of the criminal policies of the United States today is comparable to the number of victims of the Nazi regime.”
The Secretary of Defense then appeared to be issuing a direct threat to the United States, saying, “But the United States and its useless bastards should remember the words of Scripture: ‘Judge not, or you will be judged; So that one day “the great day of His wrath shall not come to their house, and who can stand?”

Since Putin sent troops to Ukraine on Feb. 24, Medvedev has regularly used social media to lash out at the West and those who criticize Moscow. Last month, he called those who “hate” Russia “degenerate” “degenerate” and promised to work to “make them disappear.”
He also warned that any encroachment on the Crimean peninsula by a NATO member state could amount to a declaration of war that could lead to “World War III”.
He added that if Finland and Sweden join NATO, Russia would be ready for “retaliatory steps” – and that could include installing Iskander hypersonic missiles “on their doorstep”.
Britain is sending a police officer and seven lawyers to The Hague to help investigate war crimes at the International Criminal Court. The UK and Norway will also provide “war crime investigation training” to Ukrainian police.
