His new project, an eight-parteris an adaptation of Si Spencer’s novel of the same name that follows four detectives investigating the same murder in four different eras of London.
Hull’s Old Town is believed to represent the capital in Victorian times – as it did for Netflix’s 2020 sleuthing drama Enola Holmes†
Bodies is produced by the makers of gangland drama Peaky Blinders and is expected to air next year.
It was also revealed this month that Stephen will star in new Netflix movie Matilda: the musicalbased on the novel by Roald Dahl, and will play the father of child genius Matilda.
Soon any drama created will star him.
