A mud behind tools that make some of the world’s greatest games playable in VR may remove some of them after receiving a copyright notice from Patreon.

The mud that goes through LukeRoss is known for releasing tools that allow a range of modern video games to be played in VR, including Grand Theft Auto VRed Dead Redemption 2and many othersUpdate his Patreon supporters today regarding a message sent to him on behalf of Take-Two Interactive Software, he wrote that he was seeking clarification, but “would exercise caution, and I will not risk involving other games in the purge in the event that Patreon chooses to close my page.”

I don’t sell or host anything that exploits or reuses their original IP and assets and my mods only work if the user already owns a legal copy of their original games. That said, if I am not getting any clarification from them that would allow me to control what they want to remove, I will of course be forced to remove anything even remotely related to any product made or distributed by Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Rockstar Games, Inc. and 2K Games, Inc.”, he wrote. “That means all posts, images, guides, recommendations, tutorials and most importantly my VR mods for GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, Mafia III: Definitive Edition will be removed and will are no longer accessible for download.”

A support page on Patreon says “you have 48 hours from the time we email you until we remove the content or your page to comply with the DMCA.
