Mr Johnson fired Secretary Leveling Up on Wednesday after serving as the Prime Minister who called for the Prime Minister’s resignation. The resignation comes after a spate of resignations from the Conservative Party of cabinet members, ministers and aides over the prime minister’s recent actions.
At least 46 resignations are believed to have been filed at this point as a result of Boris’s failing leadership.

She added: “Michael Gove is responsible for so many vital areas of leveling up, of the tragedy after Grenfell, and of having him suddenly fired because I suspect an act of revenge for what happened three years ago seems totally irresponsible.”
The Sun’s political reporter Noa Hoffman has reported that many officials praise Michael Gove as a minister who “reads his notes” and is “really competent”.

She tweeted: “Talk to a lot of officials and the one name they always mention as a good person to work for, Gove. ‘Actually, reads his letter’, ‘actually competent’, of course just my experience with civil servant interviews, but always found it interesting.”
She added: “A civil servant serving more than five years tonight tells me that ‘the last six months have been the most demoralized I’ve ever had in a workplace’.
The official added that Mr Gove was “one of the best ministers to work for: ‘really cared about the job’, ‘doing it for the right reasons’.”
Since Mr Gove’s resignation, many ministers have commented that the government “cannot perform even the most basic tasks necessary to govern”.

“There is a serious point in this, which is that in addition to government departments and functions, government ministers have a duty to the House of Commons.
“It is my understanding that the government has adjourned and effectively canceled the law committees tomorrow because they cannot provide ministers to fulfill their duties to this House.”
He added: “It seems very bad to me that this is a government that can no longer rule.”
Labor MP Matthew Pennycook also tweeted: “The Equalization and Regeneration Committee on which I sit will not sit as planned tomorrow as both government ministers have resigned.
“We do not have a functioning government.”
