TalkTV presenter Piers criticized him for “misogynistic” comments, including claims that 18- and 19-year-old women are more attractive because they “have been to the club and had less sex” than 25-year-olds.

Piers said, “That’s misogyny because you encourage a mindset about 25-year-old women that makes them sound infinitely less desirable than 18 or 19-year-olds and [you are saying] they’ve had too much sex to be taken in a respectable way.”

Andrew insisted: “First, even if that were the case, that wouldn’t be misogyny. That’s not misogyny, because it’s not anti-women.

‘I may be age-related, but misogynistic, absolutely not. You said it was misogyny and I’m telling you it isn’t.’

Piers also told his viewers, “His often outrageous views on women have made him infamous around the world.”

Ex-Big Brother contestant Tate, nicknamed the “king of toxic masculinity”, told the host: “I might say them differently [now].

“I recognize that with massive fame you need to be more careful not to be misunderstood.

“Like I said before, one percent of people who misunderstand you with a small audience doesn’t matter, it matters with a very large audience.”

But he continued: “I still believe the things I say. I don’t want to be a negative force in the world.

“I also understand that I am a man who has led a very difficult and nuanced life and I am able to make nuanced points that may be misunderstood by teenagers.

“But that can be said anything and everything. Any opinion online can be misunderstood by children.

“Trying to protect children from the Internet is in itself a very interesting topic, as I would argue that 80% of the content on the Internet will be negative or harmful to a young mind that doesn’t understand the world.”

The full interview will air later this week on TalkTV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Tate was banned from social media sites Instagram and Facebook in August after a series of misogynistic tirades.

He has also been banned from other platforms including Twitter, YouTube and TikTok.

He had over 4.6 million Instagram followers at the time his Instagram account was banned.

Tate, born in Luton, now lives in Romania.

His views have been described as extreme misogyny by domestic violence charities – and concerns have been raised about the radicalization of men and boys to copy him offline.

In an earlier interview with another YouTuber, Tate said he was “absolutely a misogynist.”

But he later said he was “playing a comedic character” and that his videos were “taken out of context”.
