Prince William seems to break royal protocol at Wimbledon in ‘slip of the tongue’ | Royal | News

the duke of Cambridge appeared to say a swear word in shocking scenes, causing royal fans on social media to collapse. While the couple seemed calm as they sat in the room royal box, they were seen passionately encouraging the players.

However, an observant fan believed they saw a gaffe from the duke when the camera was pointed at him.

The duke almost seemed to curse and pronounce the f-word.

A fan tweeted the Duke’s video clip with the caption: “Haha Prince William says no, no, no f*** it lol #Wimbledon.”

Of course, members of the royal family are not supposed to swear in public and this was quite a break in royal protocol.

However, royal fans on social media reveled in the duke’s hilarious mistake.

Many also added that they loved seeing members of the royal family make common everyday mistakes.

One fan said: “The Duke of Cambridge has his moment like the rest of us slipped.”

Another added: “A bit of a character, just like his grandfather.”

It comes as body language experts have analyzed William and Kate’s body language at Wimbledon.

An expert Darren Stanton, speaking on behalf of Slingo, told Woman and Home that the couple acted “united”.

Mr Stanton argued that the Cambridges tended to shy away from PDA (public displays of affection) because they had the “confidence” to attend events as individuals and as a couple.

According to Stanton, the couple also have a “deep bond” due to their tactile nature with each other and prolonged eye contact.
