Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of a woman’s death in Whanganui.
Police are seeking information following the unexplained death of a woman from Whanganui.
Sandra Frances Hepburn, 59, died on Monday en route to hospital pOlice were called to an address in Harrison St after reports of injury at 9:15 a.m.
Inspector Ross Grantham, commander of the Whanganui area, said at the time that police treated the death as unexplained as they made inquiries to determine what had happened.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson said: stuff a fire truck had responded to the address for a medical emergency at 9:17 a.m.
A spokesman for the St. John media said they also received a call at 9:12 a.m. and dispatched a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances.
One patient was treated in critical condition and transferred to Whanganui Hospital. However, according to the police, she died en rotue.
Police continued to investigate the circumstances of Hepburn’s death and urged anyone who was in the area on the morning of July 4, or who might have seen anything inappropriate, to contact them.
