A MAN accused of trying to harm the Queen with a loaded crossbow faces trial in March.
Jaswant Singh Chail20, was detained on site from Windsor Castle On Christmas Day last year while her Majesty was in residence.
He reportedly wore a hood and mask and carried a bow and bolt.
Chail was later charged with three offenses, including threatening to kill the Queen and others, with the intent that they “fear that threat would be carried out”.
He appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday via a video link for a plea hearing.
The ex-supermarket employee, from Southamptonconfirmed his name and date of birth before the case was adjourned to a December date.


Chail was taken into police custody.
Mr. Sweeney also set a preliminary trial for March 20 next year, which would last two to three weeks.
