The Duchess of Cambridge beamed as she cheered her husband the Duke on to victory on the polo field today — in a display unlike any of her sister-in-law Meghan Markle’s recent appearances in California.
Prince William40, took part in the Royal Charity Polo Cup 2022 at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor earlier today, while Kate Middleton, 40, stood on the sidelines all smiles.
In the meantime Prince Harry37, who currently lives in his $14 million California mansion after leaving his royal duty, has also recently been on the field and joined the Los Padres polo team to compete in the Pacific Coast Circuit Inter-Circuit cup.
The Duchess of Sussex40, often went to watch the games with the wives and girlfriends of Harry’s teammates.

Today, the Duchess of Cambridge wore an elegant £1,352 white midi dress with black pipe detailing by her favorite designer Emilia Wickstead for the occasion.
She paired the look with a comfy £195 pair of flats from designer Camilla Elphick for the occasion.
Meanwhile, she brushed her long brunette locks from her face in a bouncy blow dryer, and put her £150 Finlay sunglasses on her head.
During the outing, the Duchess appeared in a good mood and you could see her dog Orla lovingly stroked with one hand, while drinking a glass of Pimms with the other.

Supportive wife Meghan sat with Harry to comfort him after his Los Padres polo team lost a semifinal against Folded Hills at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club
She beamed as she watched the Duke play on the field today, before offering him a huge hug and a loving kiss on the cheek.
It was in stark contrast to the recent appearances of the Duchess of Sussexes watching her husband in California.
While the competition Prince William entered helped raise money and publicize charities supported by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry has also taken up polo across the pond.
For the past two months, he has competed in the Pacific Coast Circuit Inter-Circuit Cup, which was founded by Nacho Figueras, 45, an Argentine polo professional and model, and an old friend of the Prince.

Meanwhile, Meghan is often accompanied by her famous friends to watch the polo, including Abigail Spencer and Delphine Figueras (pictured)
The 37-year-old prince joined the Los Padres polo team under the name Harry Wales in May and has been playing alongside his teammates for the past few weeks.
And Meghan was there to watch every game from the sidelines.
Decked out in oversized sunglasses, the royal was joined by a host of different celebrity friends to watch the matches, including her longtime friend and former co-star Abigail Spencer and Soho House Global Membership Director Markus Anderson.
She most regularly starred with Ralph Lauren model Delphine Figueras, whose husband Nacho plays on the same team as Harry.

He is often referred to as the ‘David Beckham of polo’ and has an estimated net worth of $30 million.
And while the Duchess of Cambridge dressed up for the polo today, the Duchess of Sussex has taken a decidedly more low-key approach.
Meghan licked herself in the California sunshine, often wearing baggy shorts and oversized shirts while watching her husband play.
Meghan, who last month consoled the Duke of Sussex after a loss, wore a chic combination of a denim button-up shirt with rolled up sleeves and shorts in a slightly darker shade.
However, Meghan doesn’t always have a casual take on polo matches and has also been spotted in an elegant monochromatic polka dot outfit while cheering for Harry – not unlike Kate’s black and white look today.
When she appeared at a polo match in May, the Duchess harked back to Julia Roberts’ classic polka-dot outfit in Pretty Woman as she donned a flowing white skirt and black shirt with white polka dots.
She completed the outfit with a black wide-brimmed hat with slingback heels.
And while both Kate and Meghan enjoyed supporting their husbands while playing, the couples tend to express affection in a different way.
All smiles this afternoon, Kate kissed William on the cheek after the game before the pair took a walk around the grounds with their spaniel, Orla.
But at a polo match in May, Meghan planted a kiss on Harry’s lips after the match ended, in a much more loving display.
