Boris Sparks MORE Tory Fury As Prime Minister Refuses To Go ‘Apologies To Queen And GO’ For Months | Politics | News

The prime minister is set to announce his resignation later today after two days of humiliating departures from senior cabinet members, later including those who replaced the first to leave, and dozens of other Tory officials.

According to early reports, he will remain at No. 10 for several months to host a Conservative Party leadership contest.

This will determine the UK’s next prime minister.

But George Freeman MP, Secretary of State for Science, Research and Innovation, has insisted that Mr Johnson must go now.
