Mo Harris (Laila Morse) is set to return until EastEnders later this year, and new photos have teased what exactly it is that leads to her comeback.
Several cast members of the BBC One soap were spotted filming scenes on location as part of the upcoming storyline.
Lacey Turner† Gillian Wright and James byewho plays Stacey and Jean Slater and Martin Fowler respectively, all were snapped during the shoot.
It is believed that Stacey, Martin and Jean are on their way to a campsite in Essex, where they believe that Big Mo is staying.
The trio hope they can persuade Mo to return to the Plaza, but the question is, will they succeed?
Mo will make an on-screen comeback in the summer, with actress Laila Morse reprising her role for the first time since she left more than a year ago.
EastEnders keeps quiet about what exactly brings her back to the Square, but since it’s Mo, it’s safe to assume that dodgy trades will be on the menu.
“I always love playing Mo so I can’t wait to get back to The Square and see what mischief she gets up to this time,” actress Laila Morse said at the time.
“I’ve missed my on-screen family so much and can’t wait to see everyone again.”
As viewers know, last year Mo was offered the chance to go on a cruise with her longtime boyfriend Fat Elvis.
She refused to go at first, because she was incredibly worried about… Jean Slater †Gillian Wright), who – at the time – thought she was dying.
However, Jean got wind of Mo’s refusal to leave, and so – with some help from Cat †Jessie Wallace) – was able to convince her to seize the opportunity and live her life to the fullest.
Mo then took their advice and left the Square in emotional scenes.
Laila Morse was planning to move to Spain at the time, and this is why Big Mo was written out.
“I made the decision a while ago that I wanted to move to Spain, so I let the team know that this was my plan,” Laila said. metro.co.uk†
“They said they’d like me to come back every now and then if Big Mo needed to come back, which was nice to hear.
“I mean, it was ideal, because this opportunity gave me the chance to spend more time in Spain, in the sun!”
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One.
