Spurs could announce Lenglet ‘within hours’
Clement Lenglet could be confirmed as Tottenham’s fifth summer signing “in the coming hours”, according to reports in Spain.
The Barcelona defender is expected to be loaned out for a season, although the club has other goals as a centre-back.
The Spurs want the central defender to go on tour in South Korea, with the flight before Saturday.
Sport adds that the clubs are “working against the clock” to finalize the deal.
Chelsea cut De Jong’s offer
Chelsea have made a bold offer to hijack the transfer from Manchester United to Frenkie de Jong.
According to reports in Spain, Thomas Tuchel is ready to use negotiations with Barcelona for Marcos Alonso to work out a deal to sign the Dutch midfielder.

Arsenal in talks for Grimaldo
Arsenal have entered into talks over a deal to take over Benfica defender Alex Grimaldo, Record reports.
The Portuguese newspaper reports that Mikel Arteta believes the left-back would be a valuable addition to the squad in a deal worth around £6 million.
Grimaldo has one more year contract with Benfica.
Man United agree to Ronaldo sale
Manchester United have decided to sell Cristiano Ronaldo, with manager Erik ten Hag’s agreement, according to reports in Brazil.
UOL Esporte say United want £13million for the attacker.
