FIVE GUYS enthusiast Fabio Wardley is ready to take Kubrat Pulev’s burger when Derek Chisora cuts off his usual post-fight ritual.
Chisora regularly shares a citizen with his opposition but his bad blood with Pulev threatens to see the tradition scrapped.
So Wardley, who tends to enjoy a quarter pounder himself, is more than happy to grab an extra one.
He told SunSport: “Oh yeah, sure. I would have my own for that time anyway. So I’m going to double.”
Wardley, 27, interrupted his corner team mid-fight in July 2019 to ask if? they went to his favorite burger joint.
And since then, the undefeated British heavyweight contender has been grilling on his passion for pasties.
Wardley joked: “The point is I love a Five Guys but it’s so attached to me now I can’t escape it, it’s funny.
“Derek always walks around with a hamburger. He gave me one during my last fight I had in February.
“I was in the middle of the ring doing my open practice and he just came into the event with a bag full of burgers, handed me one in the ring.
“I had to say, ‘Mate, I’m not going to eat this now’.”

Wardley certainly deserved the weird fast food treat that has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in the country.
He is currently 13-0, with all but one of his fights ending in a knockout.
Wardley looks at the British title of Tyson Fury’s cousin Nathan Gorman, 26, who… only just had his first fight in 15 months.
Gorman will probably need one or two more wins to build confidence, meaning Wardley’s hopes for the title will be shelved.
But while he shares a red-hot heavyweight division both domestically and globally, the avid Ipswich fan has plenty of other options.
Wardley said: “The British title is probably at the top of the list in terms of what we want, seems the most achievable, seems the best option for it to happen.
“But if not, there’s the Commonwealth, the European and all sorts of other international ties.
“There are many possibilities, but the British title is No1.”
Wardley returns on Saturday night on the undercard of the rematch between Chisora, 37, and Pulev, 41, the Bulgarian who first won in 2014.
And he faces late American opponent Kingsley Ibeh, 28, who has a modest 7-2-1 record.
