BSNL broadband plan that provides up to 300 Mbps speed and 4TB of data
The plan we are talking about costs Rs 1,499 (tax not included) and offers 300 Mbps speeds to the users. The internet speed for both download and upload is symmetrical. Along with that, users also get up to 4TB of Fair Use Policy (FUP) data every month. This is more than you will get from the private operators.
On top of that, there is an OTT (over-the-top) benefit of Disney + Hotstar Premium bundled for the users. Note that the current cost of Disney + Hotstar Premium is Rs 1,499 per year. But here you can get it at no extra cost.
BSNL also offers users a free landline connection to make calls. But the telephone equipment must be purchased by the customer himself. The state-owned telecommunications company will offer users a 90% discount of up to Rs 500 on the first month’s bill. So getting a new connection and this plan will be a very pocket friendly affair for the consumers.
BSNL also offers other 300 Mbps plans. However, these plans offer no OTT benefits and cost more per month. The reason they cost more is that they bring more FUP data. With the Rs 2499 and Rs 4499 plans, users get 5 TB and 6.5 TB of monthly data. These plans are suitable for large organizations or libraries where a lot of people connect to the internet on a daily basis. Even the speed after consumption of FUP data is decent with these expensive plans.
