Briton Joe Salisbury and American partner Rajeev Ram forfeited a two-set lead against Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell to lose in the Wimbledon Men’s doubles, semi-final on Thursday.

Salisbury, the world No. 1 in men’s doubles, and Ram took the first set 6-3 on court one before claiming the second on a tiebreak. The pair later got five match points, but failed to capitalize.

In an impressive comeback, Ebden and Purcell came to a close tiebreak in the third, before taking the final two sets 6-4 and 6-2 to earn a place in Saturday’s final.
