Love Island‘s Dami Hope and Indian Polack left their fellow islanders in shock after they both started following again house love†
The pair, who once looked like they were ready to win, formed a solid couple before Indiyah was taken to Casa Amor – but now it couldn’t be more different.
Dami’s head turned almost immediately when he met Summer Botwe and even kissed Coco Lodge.
Meanwhile, after fearing that she disrespected Dami, Indiyah finally got to know Deji Adeniyi.
Thursday’s brutal reconnection saw Dami reconnect with Summer, before Indiyah walked back in with Deji – and you could cut the tension with a knife.
After stating that he and Indiyah “still have a connection,” Dami went on to say: “Summer isn’t over yet,” leaving islanders Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Danica Taylor horrified.
Indiyah said, “I had a great time at Casa, I felt like I had to follow my lead and I’m glad I did.”
She added: “Everything happens for a reason.”
As things got even more tense, Dami insisted, “We’re heartthrobs,” with Indiyah dropping the immediately iconic line: “May the best heartthrob win.”
With the islanders looking totally shocked, viewers were unprepared for the scene, which appeared to be straight out of a soap opera.
“I just need a moment to recover from indiyah and dami giving us a whole eastender ass scene,” someone said.
Another added: ‘How dare Dami have the nerve to be fooled,’ while another added: ‘Dami wanted Indiyah to sit there and cry that he was with the summer. SHE’S NOT THAT GIRL.’
Elsewhere in the dramatic reconnection, Andrew Le Page called his former flame Tasha Ghouri “fake” and accused her of “telling more lies than Pinocchio.”
Ekin-Su and Davide Sanclimenti were brought back together, as were Luca Bish and Gemma Owen.
Love Island continues Friday at 9pm on ITV2.
