A NEW study has revealed the best sex position for women by using an ultrasound scanner on a test couple.
Researchers measured blood flow and found that a proven method, using a pillow, is the best way for women to reach orgasm.
Researchers at the private genecology clinic New H Medical in New York found that the best way to get blood flow to the clitoris is to have personal relationships with the man at the top, despite widespread rumors that the missionary position is boring.
Using the ultrasound to measure blood flow, researchers analyzed a test pair as they put it on in five positions.
Every 10 minutes, the pair bonded face-to-face with the female above (Cowgirl), sitting face-to-face (Lotus), face-to-face with male above – with and without kisses – and kneeling with bent over female.
The scans showed that face-to-face positions generally improved clitoral blood flow.
dr. Kimberley Lovie led the team of researchers with the goal of “producing scientific research evaluating the association between different coital positions and their ability to produce female orgasm.” Daily mail exclusively shared.
“The kneeling/posterior entry position produces the least amount of direct clitoral contact and resulted in a negligible increase in blood flow compared to the face-to-face positions,” the researchers wrote.
They found that kissing in missionary allowed for deeper penetration and a more effective orgasm.
Known as sex pillows or positioning pillows, they are usually firm and wedge-shaped.
Researchers said the pillows provide more precise and consistent pelvic angles than the average pillow you sleep on.
They added that using one of the specialized pads increases the amount of contact and pressure on the clitoris, along with the depth of penetration.
It should be noted that women in different positions may respond differently to stimulation because men exert different degrees of thrust, researchers said.
The scientists hope the research will help clinicians and their patients address sexual dysfunction.
