Tesla CEO Elon Musk has responded to reports that he and Shivon Zilis, a top employee at his brain chip startup Neuralink, were having twins in November 2021.
Earlier today, we reported that Elon Musk had twins with one of his top employees last year.
According to Business Insider, Mr. Musk and Ms. Zilis filed a petition in April to change the twins’ name to “their father’s last name” and their mother’s last name as part of their middle names.
The outlet also said a court summary on Westlaw’s Legal Investigation Service showed that a judge signed a May 11th “Name Change Order for Multiple Children” following Mr. Musk and Ms. Zilis’ name change petition on May 11. April 25 this year.
The news of the twins brings Elon Musk’s total number of children to nine. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has five children; Griffin, Vivian, Kai, Saxon and Damian – with Canadian author Justine Wilson.
Elon Musk also has two children – X AE A-XI and Exa Dark Sideræl – with singer Grimes. The names of the twins are not yet known.
On Twitter, Mr Musk said he is “doing his best to help the underpopulation crisis”. He even added that a “collapsing birth rate is by far the greatest danger facing civilization.”
