Jamie Redknapp’s wife Frida Andersson took to Instagram on Saturday to celebrate his 49th birthday, praising him as a ‘smashing guy’ and showering him with further praise in a sweet post.
The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London last October for about 30 friends and family, and welcomed their son Raphael the following month, appear to have enjoyed a sun-filled holiday.
Swedish model Frida posted photos as part of her tribute and led with a photo of herself next to Jamie on the deck of a yacht, with Frida in a yellow bikini top and red patterned maxi skirt and former footballer Jamie in blue swimming trunks.
She also shared a candid James Bond-esque shot of Jamie emerging from the waves of the sea, as well as an adorable photo of them together in neat navy outfits, back on the deck of the boat and smiling into each other’s eyes.
“Happy Birthday Sötnos,” she captioned her upload. ‘What a great guy you are, from the inside out.
‘Cool, super funny, stupid, handsome, nice, a great daddy to your three boys and the best husband! Love you so much! Have the best day.’
Frida also added a photo of Jamie reading a story to Raphael as they lay side by side in loungewear on the floor, with a soccer ball at his son’s feet.
Followers shared birthday wishes for Jamie on the post, while Boris Becker’s ex-wife Lilly wrote: ‘We have the same birthday so he must be super cool, funny life and awesome 👏🏾 happy birthday ❤️’
‘Nice couple. Congratulations @jamie.redknapp!!’ wrote another.
Pundit Jamie married 38-year-old Frida four years after divorcing ex-wife Louise Redknapp, with whom he shares two older sons, Charley, 17, and 13-year-old Beau.
He was married to the former Eternals singer for 19 years.
Frida also has four children – three boys and a girl – from her marriage to 58-year-old American hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.
Jamie had previously let his followers down when he fashioned Raphael’s hair into an impressive Mohican before meeting football legend and family friend Ruud Gullit.
‘I hope what’ [football] magic radiates from the big man @ruudgullit,” he joked with a photo of Raphael on Ruud’s knee.
