Nuremberg vs Arsenal LIVE! Pre season friendly

Mikel ArtetaArsenal squad kicks off their pre-season schedule this afternoon with a game against second-tier German outfit, FC Nuremberg† The Gunners have been on training camp in Germany to see some of their new signings, including gabriel jesus expect to get a first run in Arsenal colors in a few hours.

The club will fly to the United States next week for a more high-profile run of pre-season friendlies, where they face Everton in Baltimore before meeting Orlando City and Chelsea in Flordia. Still, while perhaps understated, the game in Germany offers Arteta the opportunity to take control of its players for the first time since the summer break.

Obviously, this kind of competition isn’t all about the result, but it would be very promising to see Jesus on the scoresheet in particular. Follow all the action LIVE with Standard Sport’s dedicated match blog!
