Jack Wilshere retires from football ahead of potential Arsenal manager return
Jack Wilshere has announced that he is retiring from football.
The 30-year-old made 14 appearances for the Danish AGF and has previously revealed the idea of taking on a coaching role after his playing career is over.
Wilshere, one of the most highly regarded talents in European football after his first breakthrough at Arsenal, made his Premier League debut in 2008, winning two FA Cups in north London.
However, injuries would prove to be a regular part of his career and Arsenal made the decision to release him in the summer of 2018.
