ormula One heads to Spielberg this weekend for the second part of a double-header, featuring the Austrian Grand Prix takes place on Sunday.

Red Bull Ring will host the second of three sprint races for the 2022 campaign on Saturday afternoon Lewis Hamilton and Co have just one practice session to perfect their setups before diving into the competitive action.

Hamilton and Mercedes may the weekend approach with renewed optimism after a second consecutive podium for the Briton at the British Grand Prix, although teammate George Russell fell out during the incident on the first lap, sending Zhou Guanyu hurtling toward the guardrails on his roof.

The Chinese driver will be fit to go on the track this weekend in his Alfa Romeo while Max Verstappen at the front of the pack keeps control on top of the F1 Drivers’ Championship and led the first practice on Friday.

The track action continues today with qualifying at 4pm BST.

On Saturday, the second practice is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., before the Sprint at 3:30 p.m.

The race starts on Sunday at 2 p.m. Dutch time.

How can I watch the F1 Austrian Grand Prix?

TV channel: The race will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1 and Main Event, with coverage from 12:30pm.

live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also tune in online via the Sky Go app.

Free Highlights: Channel 4 will be broadcasting full free-to-air racing highlights Sunday night at 6:30pm.

Who will be on pole for the F1 Grand Prix of Austria?

The official pole position winner will be determined on Friday during the qualifying session, which will take the traditional form of a Q1, Q2 and Q3 as the slowest drivers are gradually eliminated.

However, that will only determine the grid for the Sprint. Saturday’s 24-lap race determines the final grid for Sunday’s race.
