Conor Gallagherwho was withdrawn in the first half of the 0-0 draw at Brentford due to illnesstrained but won’t start.

Potter told reporters on Friday: “We are still in the process of recovery. Much like we were with Brentford. Conor (Gallagher) trained today, so we’ll see how he is over the 24 hours.”

Only long-term absentees Reece James (knee), N’Golo Kante (hamstring) and Wesley Fofana (knee) are on the sidelines.

Potter is sticking to the 3-4-3 formation he has used in recent weeks, with several equipped stars such as Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling all coming back.
