Instagram user Lorafied has discovered a hack that virtually freezes your drinks so you can enjoy a chilled drink within minutes of putting it in the freezer.

Lorafied explained in her video how she comes up with this trick “out of the dog kennel” when she forgets to cool the beer.

“Start with one or two paper towels,” she said in her step-by-step tutorial.

She continued, “Wrap it around your drink and stick it in the freezer.”

Lorafied said you can enjoy an “ice-cold” drink “just 15 minutes later, or if you’re desperate to make it 10.”

Lorafied’s fans went to the comment section to praise the quick and easy method.

“Cheers! As always, great tip!” said one user.

Another follower explained the science behind the hack and commented: “Moisture guide! Never forget to take a tray of cookies with a wet tea towel out of the oven! Aieeeee!”

A third remark suggested: “If you add salt between the two damp paper towels, it will cool down even faster!”

“I needed it today! Thanks !!! Great hacks,” wrote another user.

Lorafied recommends leaving your drink, wrapped in a damp paper towel, in your freezer for 10-15 minutes.
