Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey hosted her daughter Aurelia’s first birthday without her father, after The Wanted star died earlier this year after a battle with a stage four glioblastoma brain tumor†
Tom died in March at the age of 33 after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in October 2020 and given only 12 months to live by doctors.
He and his wife Kelsey shared two children, Aurelia, who was celebrating her third birthday with a princess party, and Bodhi, one.
Kelsey shared Aurelia’s princess fit party on Instagram, showing the adorable three-year-old in a pink party dress, posing with Disney princesses like Elsa and Rapunzel, and blasting some tunes into a microphone.
One photo showed Kelsey holding her daughter, both wearing matching pink dresses, while Aurelia paired hers with an adorable matching bow.
EastEnders star Louisa Lytton and Grammy nominee Ruth-Anne celebrated Aurelia’s birthday at the party and offered their support to Kelsey hosting the first birthday without her husband.
The party follows Kelsey who recently opened up about Father’s Day and said she is determined to make it a ‘party’ for her kids.
Last weekend, Kelsey said, “Aurelia’s kindergarten asked me about card making and they said, ‘We know she’s going to be able to make a card,’ and she talks to them about her dad, so I’m more than happy.” that she made a card for her father.’
She added OK! He added: ‘I think it will be more difficult for the children in the coming years. This year where they’re young and they don’t really understand, we’ll make it a party for years to come.
“It will be hard for me, but for the kids I don’t think it will be that hard this year. As they get older, they start asking more questions about Father’s Day.’
Kelsey also shared a sweet video of the two kids on Father’s Day, thanking fans for their messages.
She wrote: ‘I had an inbox full of sweet messages before 9am this morning and I can’t tell you how much it has helped me to put on my best smile and get up this morning.
Father’s Day isn’t easy for everyone, but it’s a chance to celebrate all the great dads, including Tom, and celebrating him is my favorite thing to do right now. We have these #positiveparkers #fathersday #tomparker #instacommunity.’
