Royal Family LIVE: Meghan and Harry faced criticism for ‘wanting to be in the spotlight all the time’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Megan Markle were criticized by royal biographer Angela Levin for their imminent acceptance of the Ripple of Hope Award, which they will receive at a gala hosted by the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation. According to the organization, the couple will be honored for their work “promoting global dialogue around mental health, supporting Afghan refugees in the US, invest in Ukraine aid organizations fight vaccine access and collaboration with the NAACP on a ‘Digital Civil Rights Award'”.

But Ms Levin told the Daily Mail that Harry and Meghan’s charity credentials were “fantasy laced with conviction”.

And she wondered, “Are they really higher than previous award winners? Whichever way you look at it, their alleged achievements seem fantasy laced with conviction and who knows what else, rather than fact.

“Meghan and Harry have had a hard time getting close to A-list celebs. They haven’t received invites to all the right parties, so maybe the next best thing for them was to get on price lists where A-listers abound .

“Meghan in particular gives the impression that they will stop at nothing to get to the top. She has to be careful, because it could all come crashing down.”
