An erotic resident describes a suspected gas explosion passing through burning debris through dust and rubble to quickly pull an injured man out of the ruins of a house.

After a blast in King Standing in northern Birmingham, men are in a life-threatening state.

A man who didn’t reveal his name told PA News Agency: The other 12 people.

“There was a man behind (at home) and I heard him screaming, but he was trapped in the fridge in the kitchen.

“Dust from loft insulation was burning around us.

“We managed to get closer to him and pull him out-I still have his blood in my jeans.

“We took him out, he eventually came out on the mattress.

“But he said there was a woman in the house.”

“His clothes were blown away, you couldn’t even see him, he was bloody,” the rescuer added.

There was a man in the back (of the house) and I heard him screaming, but he was trapped in the fridge in the kitchen.

He added: “We went straight through the (front) door. I thought we went through the door of the house, but it was actually the door of the next house because the door of the house was destroyed.

“We came out behind, then we could hear the man Geezer screaming, and we dug him out.

“He was in the kitchen, lying flat on the floor, turning his back on the fridge and washing machine.

“He went to’Don’t pull me – my feet’, and I said,’Fellow, we’ll have to take you out now.'”

The rescue team broke a damaged water pipe in the rubble and tried to take off their clothes to protect themselves from the flames.

Standing on the police cordon and seeing paramedics working in a powerful spotlight in the devastation, the resident added:

“We went through a house-and that house is gone.”

The West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) said people on the scene rescued a man from a destroyed house, but he was “extremely seriously injured” and taken to a hospital.

The other four men were slightly injured and were evaluated on-site by the ambulance crew, WMAS added.

A spokeswoman said:

A man who was helped by the people in the field was seriously injured.

“After on-site evaluation and treatment, he was taken by green light to the main trauma center in Birmingham, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, along with an ambulance-traveling MERIT team.” His condition upon arrival at the hospital was life-threatening. Described as a threat.

“Four more men were evaluated for minor conditions by the ambulance crew, but were discharged on-site.

“Members of the Hazardous Area Response Team continue to work with professional firefighters in the field.”

Birmingham police tweeted that the West Midlands Fire Department took over command of the case, believing it was a gas explosion.
