A house explosion in Birmingham can kill or injure many people.
According to police, real estate in the King Standing area was “destroyed” and other real estate nearby was also damaged.
Casualties have been reported, but the number and severity of injuries are unknown at this time.
Social media footage showed the remains of a terraced house caught in a fire shortly after the explosion.
According to witnesses, the sound of the blast couple was heard miles away.
Evacuation is taking place and people are being urged to avoid the area.
Emergency services rushed to the Dulwich Road site shortly after 8:30 pm.
The cause of the explosion is still unknown.
A police spokesperson thanked those who “shocked and injured their neighbors.”
West Midlands Ambulance Service tweeted:’We are currently dealing with a serious incident on Dulwich Road in the King Standing area of Birmingham.
Along with’@WestMidsFire and @WMPolice, there are numerous ambulance resources on site.
“The general public is required to stay away from the area so that we can work.”
