Kiwi’s rugby player was beaten for a soft try by hitting his TEAM MATE on his face after the pair fought a verbal battle.

  • New Zealand’s Premier Rugby Club, Napier Pirates and Aotea Sports Club have recently clashed
  • Sean Morrison is on the comeback trail with Pirates, let’s try
  • His teammate Kelsey Miller wasn’t happy and rushed verbally
  • Morrison responded by hitting him in his mouth in a Hawke’s Baynash Cup match

In a recent rugby union match in New Zealand, a stunning scene was ruined when a furious forward decked his teammate in the middle of the match.

Veteran Sean Morrison has returned to the Napier All Blacks this season to compete in the Hawke’s Baynash Cup.

They were playing the Aotea Sports Club at Dannevilleke’s Rugby Park on June 18th, creating tensions between Morrison and his teammate Kelsey Miller.

The two were screaming at each other in the second half, and at some point Morrison accidentally gathered a mirror with a tackle.

A few minutes later, when Morrison was fed up with the verbal barrage from his teammates and tapped his mouth to silence it, it all boiled.

The incident occurred in the second half when Aotea Sports Club No. 8 Jacob Stevenson took a walk to cut the margin to just 11 points after losing 18 before.

Morrison was one of Aotea’s past skates, and Miller wasn’t happy. He started giving his teammates a constant spray, but Morrison didn’t have it at all.

He quickly responded with a punch to the face that shocked Miller.

Surprisingly, the referee didn’t see or care about it. No cards or penalties were issued and play resumed as usual after conversion.

It is believed that Morrison did not face sanctions against punches.

In April of this year, the club created Morrison’s Facebook profile, but the date isn’t enough.

“Seaney is famous for his blockbuster in the field (which is always legal, of course). Many pirates commented that they were happy to play with him rather than oppose him. I heard, “he read the post.

Morrison, 26, was injured and missed a lot of football and returned to pirates in 2022.

Morrison also got a red card in May due to the ill-advised loss of Pirates to Napier’s companion Tech Old Boys. He has played 91 premier games but has been absent for several seasons due to injury.

He emulated his father and returned in 2022 hoping to reach 100 premier career games.

Napier Pirates defeated Aotea Sports Club 26-22, so it didn’t cost anything in the end. However, except for Miller, who was nursing a very painful jaw.
