The priest in charge of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in the Ikabigbo Community, Etsako West Local Government of Edo State, Rev. Fr. Christopher Odia, who was abducted in the early hours of today, June 26, has been found dead.
Odia was preparing for mass this morning when the gunmen stormed his residence and took him to an unknown destination.
A statement released tonight by the Catholic Diocese of Auchi says the body of the kidnapped priest has been found.
