KANYE West has shadowed his ex-wife Kim Kardashian when the rapper made a surprising public appearance at the BET Awards.
The controversial hitmaker and TV star battled it out after their divorce.

The 45-year-old took the stage towards the end of the popular awards ceremony to honor fellow rapper Diddy with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Kanye showed up with his face covered in a mask and hood, and his shirt appeared to be ripped as he talked about how Diddy inspired him.
However, the famous entertainer seemed to refer to his failed marriage during his speech.
He said, “I’m going to [Diddy] for advice to this day. He inspires so many of my choices. So many of my life choices. My wife’s choices…and here we are—thanks for that, Puff.’
Kanye laughed after patting Kim, as the audience reacted as well.
Fans were quick to comment on Kanye’s shocking looks and Kim hue, as one said, “This guy is crazy and he’s obsessed with Kim…!”
Another wrote: “I wish he didn’t mention Kim…”
The Hulu star, 41, who filed for divorce from Kanye last February, shares four children with the troubled musician: North, nine; Chicago, four; Saint, six, and Psalm, three, with the entertainer.
Kim has moved on with Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson, but their new relationship has had to do with Kanye’s outbursts.
Kanye has done everything from calling Pete to “d**khead,” to threatened to “beat up” him, even accusing him of attempting to “destroy” his family.
He also “kidnapped and beheaded” Pete, 28, in the animated video for his song Eazy; a project he eventually championed.
Amid the chaos, Kanye struck up new relationships: first with actress Julia Fox and then with Chaney Jones.
However, he is now a single man after he and 24-year-old Chaney broke up.
KIM MOVES
Meanwhile, Kim and Pete recently enjoyed each other’s company on a romantic beach getaway.
The reality star has continued with her comedic beauty, and she made that clear in a recent episode of The Kardashians series.
“I never want the person I’m dating to be subject to public scrutiny just because we’re dating,” she said in a confessional.
She admitted, “He knows what he’s getting into, but I try to keep any tabloid drama to a minimum.”
Although she doesn’t mention his name, “drama” is all that Kanye has brought her for months.
After Kanye’s split from Chaney, fans feared he would “lash out” at the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum.
