Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) finds herself in terrible danger in EastEnders as soon as she realizes the two thugs who broke into Peggy’s want the safe – and it’s in the same room as her.
As Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Sharon (Letitia Dean) prepare for the grand opening of Peggy’s, Sam (Kim Medcalf) is in charge of staff – despite being fired.
After they get out, Kat and Sharon return to the club and find Shirley cleaning up the place.
Shirley tells Kat and Sharon that she is acting while the Mitchells continue to hurt her family.
Shirley warns them that she will not stop, but they are interrupted when two men arrive waving a gun.
While chaos dreams, Sharon and Kat wash away from the warning shot.
Meanwhile, Shirley hides in the office, but soon realizes the thugs want the safe where she is hiding.
Shirley tries to reach Dotty (Milly Zero), but someone is also shot – will it be Shirl?
Will the gun go off while Shirley tries to seek safety?
Is there further sadness on the way for the Carters?
