Macron must EXCLUDE as French president faces urgent inquiry over ‘betrayal of France’, #Macron #ordered #RESIGN #French #President #faces #urgent #probe OLASMEDIA TV NEWSThis is what we have for you today:
The French president supported the development of Uber in France by striking a deal when he was economy minister between 2014 and 2016. The findings, leaked after an investigation based on 124,000 confidential internal Uber documents, led to an appeal to Macron to resign.
Les Patriotes leader Florian Philippot said: “Macron must resign! He betrays France, its companies, the state, justice, the people! Out!”
He added: “If the opposition after the #UberFiles don’t vote ‘no confidence’ today, I don’t know what they need!
“Be responsible and vote for it! Put down the Macrony!”
Echoing his comments, National Rally member Jordan Bardella said: “It was common knowledge, the #UberFiles are demonstrating it again.
“Despite the permanent ‘at the same time’, Emmanuel Macron’s career has a consistency, a common thread: serving private interests, often foreign, over national interests.”
Left MEP Manon Aubry also taunted the French leader.
She said: “Revelations about a secret deal between Macron and Uber.
“We also better understand the role France plays in blocking European regulation of platforms!
“It is not a president who rules France, but a lobby!”
Debout La France leader Nicolas Dupont-Aignan reiterated: “Emmanuel Macron, loyal supporter of Uber.
“Minister of Commerce, he already betrayed France by defending the interests of an American company!”

According to the investigation, the French leader signed a deal with Uber to “make France work for Uber, so Uber can work in and for France”.
Macron also promised “drastic simplification of the legal requirements” to obtain a driver’s license.
Uber also secretly lobbied ministers to influence London’s transport policy.
Leaked documents show lobbyists from the ride-sharing company met with then-Chancellor George Osborne and other ministers, the BBC said.
The “undeclared” meetings took place after Boris Johnson, as mayor of London, promised to launch a review that could limit Uber’s expansion in the capital.
The meeting with Mr. Osborne took place during a private dinner in the US state of California, where Uber is based.

An internal email from Uber said this was better than a London meeting because “this is a much more private affair with no supporters of officials or staff members,” the BBC reported.
Other meetings were held between Uber lobbyists and current or former government ministers, including Priti Patel, Sajid Javid, Matt Hancock and Michael Gove, according to the company.
Mr Johnson eventually left his assessment and Uber was able to increase its number of drivers in London.
Uber denies that the lobby was secret and ministers insist the rules were followed, the BBC said.
The files were leaked to the Guardian and shared with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and several media organizations, including BBC Panorama.
They also reportedly show extensive lobbying by other European politicians, including French President Emmanuel Macron in August 2014 when he was economy minister, and ex-EU Commissioner Neelie Kroes.
